And it was to Paso Robles CA!
One of my lovely friends had planned a birthday trip and one day while hanging out and listening to her sharing about it, I invited myself right along! Haha whoops. 😬
Never have I ever been on a “girls trip” let alone have been away from my husband for more than an over night, unless it was that time I was in the ICU last year but I don’t count that, so it was almost expected from friends that I was going to have a “rough time” but I didn’t. LOL. I had a wonderful time actually. I danced around, drank all of the wine that as handed to me, ate at some beautiful local spots, and checked off so many places on my list I wanted to see. The only problem now is that I already want to go back and see even more! Especially at the Madonna Inn and Hearst Castle.
At the Madonna Inn I just need to stay at this place. Just seeing the bathroom and bar I fell in love with the whole vibe. Next time I want to go in the Spring so I can see the Secret Garden in bloom officially. Just saying winter is cute but I know it could be even more special in there.
Hearst Castle… I have been wanting to visit this wonderful spot for YEARS and to find out that there’s still so so much more to see than what I got to, oof, that’s going to be a busy day when I get the Husband to bring me back because truly I need to see those kitchens.
The most impactful visit we made on the trip though was at Eberle Winery. I got spoiled rotten by a friend who told us we where just doing a cave walk through tour that turned out to be also a beautiful tasting and pairing with these special cheeses and chocolates that made my heart smileeeeee.
In other news, that had nothing to do with having a drink in my hand, we went to Morro Bay to see the Seals and Otters. Adorable. Highly recommend. The cuddles and snuggles they were all doing was just so fricken cute I couldn’t handle it.
Below is my media block of only a quarter of the photos I took while on the trip. If you haven’t already follow me on Instagram @emilysardor to see my stories and posts that I did while away, as well as to just be updated in a timely matter on all of my ongoings.

On that note, I’m going to start talking to the ladies about where the next trip is so I gotta go.
