Since Fall is officially here and in SoCal that means so many different things I want to talk about the vibe I’ll be giving off.

From my fashion choices to what I’m planting in the gardens things are all adjusting only somewhat because Fall here means it’s still fricken hot out and I’m still desperate for winter to get here.

So once again, Fall is still hot as balls here and my fashion will basically stay exactly the same as what it has been all Summer. Tank tops, shorts, Summer dresses but also throw in denim jackets, leather handbags and a new pair of boots I have been demanding for sometime now from the Husband because of his big mouth and him needing to pay me back for it. (A story for another day. Maybe I’ll write it up once I get my boots…) Maybe I should ask for a leather jacket like this one too…

The garden is going to be a mess though because I started late Summer plants this month and they have been exploding. But I will be going heavy on the lettuces this year because I have found some new spots in the gardens that will be perfect for keeping them shaded and cool in the future heat waves I know are coming again.

Mostly in the gardens I’ll be prepping for winter because this year is claiming to be another big El Nino storm season. The news is even saying “Like the one of ’97.” Which wasn’t great around here. Storm season hasn’t even begun yet and we already have 10 red tagged houses in our beach community…

So with all of that in mind and the fact that I’m actually going on a trip during Halloween out to visit family this Fall is going to be a very different vibe then I’m used to. (I’m not even decorating for Halloween this year because Husband says if I’m not going to be here then he doesn’t want to sit out for kids…)

But I’m ready. Ready for what’s coming next. Ready for the weather to change again, maybe it’ll be not as hot this Fall…
