And if you know anything about me I kinda over did it, but that’s normal, that’s just like how I work.
For it being just the 3 of us (Hubs and MIL) it was actually very nice this time to have the amount of leftovers I had. Even MIL was able to have a take home box.
What I made: Greek Lamb Chops, Parmesan Cous Cous, Mediterranean Salad, Roasted Carrots from my own garden and Homemade Tzatziki Sauce. (Recipes coming soon!)
I love cooking for people, even though it gives me knots in my stomach of anxiety, but still it makes my heart so happy when I hear the yums and get the thank yous. I love setting the perfect table, making the perfect drink for guests, creating magic is what I call it.

I also gotta talk about what I bought though. There are so many good brands out there that can make any celebration much easier. None of the brands I’m writing about are giving me anything for my mentions.
What I bought: Falafel bites from Fabalish, Pita Bread from Joseph’s Flax, oat bran and whole wheat Pita Bread, Olive Bruschetta from Sable and Rosenfeld, Hummus and Olive Bread came from my local farmer’s market.
Okay but back to the whole magic part…
I love creating a table, signage, decorations for every season and holiday. (Yes even 4th of July has it’s moment.) The amount of holiday bins I’ve started gathering since moving to this new home has been wild. I used to just have maybe 2 Christmas season boxes and then maybe 1 small Fall and Spring. Now Christmas is over flowing in our garage… Fall and then Halloween are the second large number of boxes and Spring is starting to ramp up a bit. Like 2025 I had 6 Christmas trees… Oof. But I created magic, which was what was the most important thing to me.
Alright. Off to start planning Mother’s Day. Do they sell decorations for that?
